“I’m finally going to business school!!” exclaimed Ajit after spending over a decade planning, failing, replanning, failing and then finally getting through one of the most moderate MBA programs in the world.

My journey started when I landed in the US about 10 years ago, I got off the plane with nothing but 3 pairs of clothes, a pair of old shoes and a meagre half a million dollars of my parents’ hard earned money.

Winston Churchill might be a monster in many an Indian peoples’ eyes but he has given me one of my life’s most meaningful lines… success to me is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm. After trying my hands in a number of companies and as many industries including academia and achieving little to no success, I finally decided to do more with life. This thought propelled me to take a journey inwards and I kept searching. After years I had come to the conclusion that the answer to my life’s problems was in front of me all along… MBA! I thus decided to get a most generic degree to overcome my life’s and personal shortcomings.

When I looked at my classmates on Slack in the meet and greet, I felt I was finally home. They all seemed to be failures, but there was that wholesome diversity in how they failed, when they failed and yet are bubbling of self-confidence! Finally I feel I can connect with others while being compared to them as a human participation award. I’m so excited to meet everyone in person!!

The incoming class and their money is certainly going to prop our school’s economic condition for the short-term. We are thrilled to have Ajit join the class and really looking forward to receiving his money, reports the Dean of the famed Business School.
